What Happens If I Need More Time?
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and some students may need additional time to complete their coursework. If you are experiencing difficulties or falling behind, it is very important that you reach out to us as soon as possible. We are here to help and will work with you to find a solution. However, failure to complete the coursework before clinicals without prior communication will result in being unable to attend the scheduled clinical training. In such cases, students will be required to re-enroll in the course and pay tuition again to continue their certification process. If you find yourself struggling to keep up with the schedule, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We want to support you in successfully completing your training.
How Long Does the CHHA Course Take?
📌 Online Coursework (60 Hours) The online portion is available 24/7, so students can log in anytime. Each lesson has a state-mandated timer, meaning students must wait for the timer to reach zero before moving on. Students will receive a set schedule in their welcome email to help them stay on track. To complete the course on time, we recommend dedicating at least 6 hours per day to coursework. All coursework must be 100% completed before attending clinical training. If not, students will not be allowed to proceed to clinicals or take the state exam. 📌 In-Person Clinical Training & State Exam (16 Hours + Exam Day) Once the online coursework is completed, students will attend their required 16 hours of hands-on clinical training at our Union, NJ facility. Clinicals are scheduled on: ✅ Friday & Saturday – Clinical training days ✅ Monday – State exam day Students cannot choose their own clinical dates. These dates are pre-assigned for each class, and attendance is required
